Hi! Thanks for visiting my website. My name is Sam, the owner and lead artist of this Hertfordshire, UK based company! Known simply as Face Painting by Sam, you could argue that I do 'exactly what it says on the tin'. However, there is so much more to it than that, from the services and products I provide to creating experiences, memories and lots of smiles.

I started my journey many years ago, when at the age of 10 I was asked at school what I'd like to do when I was 30. My answer was to be an artist and an author. Well, over 10 years ago, by the age of 30, I had started to face paint. Face painting came into my life when I needed to raise a lot of money for a charity trek I was going to do in Peru. After that, I fell into children's entertainment, which was my main gig for several years. Now, my main element is face painting with additional creative arty elements, such as other body art services and designing t-shirts and plaques.

Am I an author you ask? Well, I have created (and currently sell) wellness journals and notebooks, I write my blog and I create personalised poems. So, yes! Whilst the book hasn't been written YET, I am a writer too! I think 10 year old me would be pleased. I know I am!

Back to face painting and body art! In addition to offering face painting, I also also offer a range of other body art and create a range of products. I service Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties, including London, Essex, Bedfordshire etc, but I am also happy to provide a quote for locations further afield.

The services I offer, over and above face painting, include baby bump painting, henna, air brush tattoos, glitter tattoos, festival glitter and glitter bars.

In addition to this, I offer a range of products that can be bought separately or as a fantastic addition to the body art services I provide. This may be tie in festival hair, T-Shirts (such as, 'tomorrow I will be 3' or '3 today' t-shirts), photo plaques, poems and so much more!

Body art isn't just for children. Whilst face painting is suitable for those aged 3 and over, my services are absolutely perfect for anyone and any, and every, occasion.
